Daniel Wiggins, Principal and CEO

Daniel Wiggins has 30+ years of experience in financial improvements, turnarounds, restructurings, and transactions. Prior to establishing Dawi Consulting, Daniel worked at turnaround firm MorrisAnderson & Associates for 17 years. Prior to a consulting career, Daniel held progressive roles in management and executive financial and operational positions at domestic and international manufacturing and distribution companies with revenues ranging from $30 million to over $1 billion. Additionally, having earlier work experience on shop floors, warehouses, and construction sites, Daniel easily fits in knowledgably and collaboratively with many work environments and personnel. 

Not one to analyze a business only with a spreadsheet, Daniel teams with clients' managers to quickly get acclimated with all layers of a business including understanding external stakeholders critical to the business' continuity. His approach and diligence provide substance in advising companies on optimizing cash flow, financial and operational improvements, contingency planning, refinancing, recapitalization, divestitures and acquisitions, out-of-court restructurings, and insolvency proceedings. 

Aside from usual roles as financial or transactional advisor, Daniel also serves as Chief Restructuring Officer, as court-appointed Receiver, as interim CEO or CFO, and in advisory roles in bankruptcy matters. 

Daniel is a Certified Turnaround Professional (CTP), a member of the Turnaround Management Association (TMA), a member of American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI) and is a Certified Treasury Professional alumnus. He holds a BA degree in Marketing and an MBA in Finance and Accounting.
